THE PROBLEM
3. Restoring windowsills and steps which have become rough and matt due to atmospheric agents, smog and acid rain.
These surfaces appear rough, matt and sometimes blackened because of the dust and pollution they have absorbed.
Begin restoration work with the yellow Fila MarbleOne pad.
SMOOTHING
Dampen the surface with some water and rub in circles for one minute, without pressing, with the yellow Fila MarbleOne pad.
Pressing harder, work with the white Fila MarbleTwo pad for a few minutes, and then pass the blue Fila MarbleThree pad in the same way, extending the working area slightly.
Dry with a cloth or absorbent kitchen paper.
If the edges of the mark are still visible, repeat the operation.
At the end, the area should become uniformly smooth and not yet polished.
POLISHING
Wear rubber gloves. Shake the bottle of Fila MarbleShine well and pour a small amount on the area to be polished. Add a few drops of water to thin the cream.
With the white Fila Marble Sponge pad, rub the area for at least two minutes using a circular movement. Then, for an overall restored look, apply Fila MarbleShine over the whole surface, rubbing gently with the Fila Marble Sponge pad. Carefully remove any residual matter with a damp sponge and dry with a soft cloth.
If the surface is not shiny enough, polish again with Fila MarbleShine.
To complete the operation, apply Formula Marmo with a soft cloth over the entire surface. |
